Ok, while I was reloading software, and retrieving unlock codes etc. I had to insert my mapsource disc and go through the unlock process. I noticed that there was an icon (newly arrived) on my desktop bearing the legend "Garmap Bonus Software" or something very much like that.
I clicked on it, and started looking at the items - and then decided to have a look when I was finished with everything else. Specifically, I thought that some of the items would really help my wife understand the basic principles of GPS, as well as clear up some areas of fuzziness for me.
Only to find, when I returned, that the icon was still there, but the software was gone! The directory, everything that it pointed to, everything was gone!
Now, I've looked on the disc - can't find it. I've gone through this site - same result. So where did it come from, and why is it gone?
More importantly, where can I get it BACK from? I figure there should be a couple of hours of interesting reading there, if only I could find it!

Oops! You’re like a magician, you can make thinks appear and disappear.
Insert the 2009 DVD in your pc. It will auto run, cancel this process. Open the DVD using explorer. You will see various folders, one of them will show bonus software.

Was that because of the bonus software that had you scurrying for safety?
